Today we have some great new for Cinderella fans with the release of the new blind box series based on the Disney classic movie, Cinderella. This blind box series consists of 8 figures, 7 commons and a chaser. They have been released online through Disneystore.com and at selected Disney Stores in the US. They have also been released online in Europe and at Disneyland Paris. We don’t have any information on when this series will be released at Disneyland or Walt Disney World.

Each blind box will cost $12.95.

What is your favourite figure from this series?

Today Disneyland Paris has seen the release of the new Cinderella blind box series and thanks to Frederic Colley from Vinylmation Exchange, we now know that the chaser for this set will be Cinderella in a pink outfit.

Looks like Cinderella fans won’t have to wait to long for the new blind box series based on the classic animated movie.  The UK Disney Store website has updated with a new banner to show that they will be out in the UK on January 26th.  This set is going to be a 8 piece blind box series and we don’t yet know what the US release date will be, but it could be the same day or around this time.  Previous Disney Store releases, Mickey’s Christmas Carol and 101 Dalmatians came out in the UK a little earlier than in the US.

aurorapop

Last week, many readers sent me word that they had received emails from online retailers announcing the cancelling  of their pre-ordered Aurora. Aurora was first seen at Toy Fair 2014.  Many people were saddened to think that Aurora was not coming to the  Pop Vinyl family.  Thankfully, news today will be more encouraging.

Brian Mariotti, CEO of Funko, posted this on the Funko Funatic message board:

aurorac

The bad news now is that Aurora has been pushed back until 2015. The good news is that with its release, we will also get Pops based on the great Disney movie Tangled. I hope we get Rapunzel with frying Pan, Flynn with his smolder, Rapunzel with short hair variant, Rapunzel with Glowing hair. Okay I do this all day long but what Pops do you want from the Sleeping Beauty and Tangled movies?
