For the past few years, our final Custom Swap of the year has been centered around the holidays. Back in 2012, we had Winter Holidays, with shoots both in NYC and at Walt Disney World. In 2013, there was Star Wars Holidays, complete with a Star Wars themed photo shoot. This year, tradition continued with Disney’s Winter Wonderland. Ten customizers, a few veterans to the Custom Swaps and a couple of newbies, got together and created a fun array of holiday cheer.
This past Sunday, I went down to NYC to repeat a holiday themed photo shoot down in and around Rockefeller Center. However… it was raining. Between the heavy rains, I was able to get a good group shot in front of the tree, as well as quick shots of each of the customs. No worries, a few got a little wet, but none were fatally harmed.
Here are the custom close-ups, along with the artist who made them:
I am really happy with the way this Custom Swap turned out, and I am excited to be taking these guys down to Walt Disney World with me in a few days for a photo shoot within the parks. I have done this before, not just with Winter Holidays but also Disney Villains in 2013.
Thanks again to all of the custom artists involved, and i look forward to posting all of the WDW photos later on in January.
