It was a beautiful sunny day in down town Los Angeles today. The weather was great, there was hardly any traffic, and it was fairly quiet. Its funny to think that just last night the streets were going crazy here after the Los Angeles Kings won game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals in a double overtime.
Well, it was quiet…until I made it into the E3 expo inside the Los Angeles Convention Center for my media registration. It was crazy busy inside, with many expo employees putting the final touches to this massive event. Large posters up here, roll carpet out there, wood work hammering for booths; It was madness!
I went inside to finalize my media credentials and give myself time to run around and take some pictures for all of you. After some technical difficulties with the badge printer, I was in!
Before I left to check out the expo area, I decided to go to the media rooms to see where I would be posting my next article during the event. While in there, I ran into this “furry” reporter named Ray. Ray is actually a service dog for a fellow gaming reporter. This is his third E3 event and he’s actually featured on the E3 website right now. Hope to see him wagging his tail around the gaming booths in the next couple days!
And so off I went! Although we weren’t allowed into the expo areas just yet, the lobbies were pretty decked out in gaming ads. My plan was to get tons of pictures, but I couldn’t. Expo reps came to stop a lot of us from doing just that. So I went outside to get exterior shots and to take a look at this awesome Titan Fall display. Heres the one shot I managed to get inside and all the exterior shots.
Thats all for now! Stay tuned this Tuesday for the first installment of our three day Disney Infinity E3 coverage!
