Well, here it is… the photo shoot for our newest Custom Swap, themed Star Wars Holidays. Yes, it is a bit late. In addition to the busy holidays, our guest photographer, Matt Ferry, arrived at the original photo location (the Yoda Fountain at the Presidio in San Fransisco) to find that it was under refurbishment. Fortunately, in Matt’s local hometown of San Jose, The Tech Museum of Innovation is hosting an exhibit entitled Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination. Running through the end of February, this exhibit includes movie original props and costumes from all six of the films. So, Matt swung by there to photograph the ten customs submitted for the shoot.

I really think the artists involved went outside of the box with some of these designs. It was great seeing what they came up with.
