A Preview of the Haunted Mansion
The long awaited Haunted Mansion series has just been released in Disneyland Paris and is set to be released in WDW (9/21) and DLR (9/22). The reason for the split release dates across the US parks is because the artist Casey Jones will be appearing at D-Street to sign his latest releases between 11am – 1pm. These aren’t expected to be released online.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird they didnt do all three hitchhikers?
It’s more than weird. It’s ridiculous.
You know, I can already tell that:
1. The Leota chaser is a letdown. Now I finally seen a HQ pic of her, I can see they should’ve totally made her as a disembodied head (using a helmet) instead.
2. Ghost Host is going to be the popular one. Which means we’ll see a lot of Phineas on eBay.
3. I’m glad this series is getting variants in a way – I doubt there will be a second series. Hoping there will be a combo set or two – PLEASE don’t make it LE 999 if that’s the case.
do we have official confirmation that the chaser is Leota? it’s just absolutely ridicilous. it looks nothing like her. our initial thought was that it must be a bride variant.
for me, this series is a major letdown. the leota is awful. there’s only 2 hitchhiking ghosts. the bride is… okay.
I asked a cast member at D-Street California yesterday if they were having a release event for HM next Saturday & he said he was not informed of it. He said if so, it might be in the park, where HM is at? Anyone have any definite info?
