Mickey’s Circus Spotlight – Park 11
The vinyls just keep coming as we spotlight more vinyls previewed at the Mickey’s Circus Weekend, here is a quick look at Park 11 which is themed on the Disneyland California Adventure park and it will be out October 19th and will retail for $12.95. There is also a 9″ Grizzly bear which has a LE800 and apparently will be the only 9″ for this series.
Thanks to Sean Hasle for the pictures

Disappointing about no more Mickey Mold… I really thought they were going to switch over much sooner but I think it says something about how long the lead time must be to get these 9″ produced. Was glad to get a few more on old mold than I had expected after the 3″ change.
I’m not completely sold on this design, would almost have preferred they used the more commonly used straight-on profile. Trying to get the 3/4 view just doesn’t seem to work here.
With that said, this is a lot closer to how I had envisioned them doing the Tree of Life 9″ in Park 5. With the whole body and arms utilized to depict the animals carved in the trunk. I’m hoping they’ll revisit the ToL again and get it right.
As of the Park 11 Grizzly Gulch 9″ there will be no more Mickey Mold 9 inch. We now go to the short fat ugly 9 inch mold forever.
Booooooo!
Ugh. And even worse, why did that have to be the last real Mickey 9″? Awful design to end on, rather than as a high note.
