Andy make his first Vinylmations! A New Toy Story Series
One of my favorite aspects of the Toy Story movie franchise is that Andy loved to draw pictures of his toys. I did too and if Andy did it, it must mean I’m not (that) strange! The Toy Story movies have all impacted me greatly as they remind me of great childhood fun that I have passed on to my own children. Today our friends at the Vinylmation Japan Blog (follow on Twitter @vinylmati0n )posted pics of a Toy Story Vinylmation Series as if Andy designed them himself. In fact, Andy even signed the bottom of the Vinylmations! Let’s take a look:
I’m assuming these are just an open series (and not part of a blind box series) but I’m excited to find these. Sadly, these are only scheduled for release at Tokyo Disneyland to mark the opening of their Toy Story. Let’s hope they make their way over to the States though!
I need these. Maybe they’ll make it over seas :/

One of the things that got me started on Vinylmation collecting was the uniqueness of each vinyl and series. Of course, this was before Vinylmation was turned over to the toy dept and became a mass produced looking toy. This Japanese series of TS takes us back to those days. I thing the reason we see such unique designs come from Japan is that their management refuses to bow to the almighty dollar like their US counterparts do. They still take PRIDE in the design of anything that comes from their hand. Get a CLUE USA Disney!!!!
Any word when this will be released? Will it be at all Disney Stores in Japan?
Disneystore Japan is top notch. USA Disneystore ships stuff with no bubble wrap and boxes get crushed. I just placed an order to ship to a friends house and he shipped them to me. When I opened the box up, every vinyl was individually wrapped with bubble wrap. LIke the poster above me says, GET A CLUE USA DISNEY!
