Park 10 Vinylmation Set of 11 in Pictures
THe French website, Disney Showcase Key, has been the consistent leader with news regarding Disneyland Paris Vinylmations and the fact that Park 10 would be based on Disneyland Paris. Yesterday, they posted the Park 10 set of 11 in full and while they do look great, I don’t really connect with them since I’ve never been to Disneyland Paris. If you tell me which part of DLP inspired these Vinyls, please post a comment below.
Besides the Vinylmations, I want everybody to take a look at the case. Although the Vinylmation mold has been changed for awhile, this seems to be the first case that changed the Vinylmation logo to the new mold. And oh my God is it ugly. I’m not sure why they put the nose back on it but it just accentuates the portliness of the design. I can deal with the new mold but goodness it looks ugly as the case logo. Never do that again Vm team!
They have put the nose on the new mold? When did that happen? I’ve not been unfortunate enough to see it.
Btw, I don’t really get the deal with DLP exclusive releases. Is this some lame attempt to drum up more business for the park? I, for one, am not going to France, just to buy a Vinylmation!
The nose is only on the case box from what I can see. Not on the vinyl. Oh and you don’t have to go to France to get this set. It’s just “inspired” by Disneyland Paris. Just like how Park 7 and 8 were based on WDW but you could get them in Disneyland, etc.

Oh, I don’t know about this. We’re Vinylmation fans, but have been picking our spots and I’m wondering if this will be the first Park series since Park 1 (we didn’t go back and get them when we started at Park 2, BIG MISTAKE), that we actually pass on, unless/until they pop up as clearance. Does anyone else feel this way?
The left rear is the Lights Motors action.
Center rear I think is Small World.
Center left looks like a Park train.
I love chances and doing a whole series on DLP is a chance I was looking forward too. Unfortunately, with so many sets being clearanced, the needed to hit a homerun. There is no one figure that is bad, but…
The parachute drop and skull mountain seem too similar.
The Train and Phantom Manor vinyl are too similar to Park 9.
Many of the designs seem similar as a whole with the head representing one thing and the body something else (car head, body fire, treehouse/tree, parachute drop head and skull rock head). I like this in doses, but not too much.
Wish there was more clear to spice some of these up.
Great missed opportunity to connect with the US buyers would have been a couple classic character vinyls dressed in DLP garb.
If Park 8 is already been on sale once, this set must be created in much smaller quantities for the US if it’s going to avoid the same fate.
