Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the ones who mean a lot to you. I am thankful every day for my beautiful wife, three daughters, and my baby boy. I have great friends and co-workers who make my daily life that much better. The people who I am thankful for don’t stop there. They extend to the people at this website who give their time, effort, and expertise to make this site better. This does not just include writers. This also refers to the people who leave comments, reply to threads in our forums, or people who help out fellow Vinylmation collectors. With that, I want to continue a tradition that my Grandfather still does to this day. He tells every person who he is thankful for. With that, my I’m Thankful list begins, in no particular order. (My apologies in advance if I forget anyone. Blame it on writing the list at 1:30 am. It was not my intent to slight)

Ken aka Xero…Thank you for joining me in this quest to make a great Vinylmation news site. Who knew it would turn out so well? Your passion for Vinylmations can never be questioned. Your high standards should be held by everyone. The effort you put into your Showcase and Zero’s and Hero’s column is definitely appreciated.
Pete aka Poncho Pete- There is not a single more popular Vinylmation column than your Dollars & Sense. Your research is appreciated by all. Even more than that, your generosity in helping the children of Zambia is unmatched. As a fellow father of 4, I admire how you juggle it all. You’re a great guy.
R2-MK and Nick- The site would not be what it is today without your invaluable help to me in regards to image creation, checklists, and just the talent each of you possess. Thank you for not deleting my dozens and dozens of request emails. J
Queenie and Allyson- I knew the forums had turned a corner when you both joined the site as moderators. Your kindness, dependability, and personality make the site a better place. And let’s be honest. Who needs this many guys around? haha
Neoglitch- If there is a better Vinylmation collector in the world, I wouldn’t know who. Neo, I appreciate you always going out of your way to pick up items for other collectors from Disneyland. On a personal note, thank you for taking photos of releases to give me a taste of the west coast life!
LadyVinyl-Thank you for letting Xero waste so much time here. Thank you also for helping me out during site creation and for being one of the original members!
Scuba Owl- Man, what would my life be without your Twitter DMs letting me know that some big news has just broke. Then on top of that your -Ions column, while the oddest name in columns, always makes me laugh. I simply love the column! One last thank you for your hard work on the Custom Contest.
Jfunnyfur and bdwyfan- I love the Vinyl Versus column and am so glad you write it! I appreciate your hilarious conversations on Twitter even more!
1Rocky- I’ve known you for a while and you have always been a super generous collector and friend. I was almost giddy when you decide to join the site as a moderator. It felt like I had gotten a superstar to join the cast of our movie!
Crazy4Vinyls- While new to moderating, I’d like to thank you for your great columns that you have contributed to the site. You have a great writing style and I can feel your excitement coming through. I’m also envious of your custom talents!
ArtisticDoodle- Your recaps of releases and annual sales have been some of the most entertaining and discussed articles on the site. I’m also thankful that you are now helping Pete with the Previews. The more artistic writing I get, the happier I am.
DisneyJudi- We have known each other from another website and I’m glad to call you a friend. When I opened the site you were one of the first to join. As your great travel agency grew I felt honored that you would share your knowledge with my site.
DDuck4Life and Ashley7790- As two of our newer moderators I would like to personally thank you for your dedication to the site. You both have been great members of the site for a while and I hope that you are always are.

You and every single moderator have done and continue to do such great jobs at keeping this site fun, entertaining, informative and overall a great place to converse with people who I consider “long-distance friends”. It has been such a great year and an awesome opportunity to “meet” each and every single one of you. Finding a place where we all share the same hobby and fascination has been one of the greatest things of all when it comes to the Kingdom! I like to consider everyone as my extended Vinylmation Ohana, as everyone has been so helpful and welcoming, for that I am thankful!!

Thank you for making this a wonderful site to be a part of. I only joined in June but it feels like I have been part of this place for years. I want to thank all of the wonderful members I have had a chance to trade with and I can’t wait to trade with the rest of you. Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving and don’t forget if you are out shopping this weekend and you see some cutester kids, please rescue them it’s not their fault they look that way.
This is why I am part of this site… The compassion that everyone has is undying! I’m going to be the first to admit that reading this and the comments that follow brought a tear to my eye… I LOVE this site! I wish I could make bigger font to portray the LOVE… Matt, Xero, and Pete thank you all for making this site and allowing me to be a part of it. I have met so many people and had such a blast doing this, that I can sincerely say that Vinylmation Kingdom is a real part of my family. Yes, and thank you Lady Vinyl for giving up a little of me, so I can do what I do here. I love you very much. And thanks to X-Girl for your comments and critiques. They make me smile and think. I always look forward to writing your Showcase Articles. I love you very much.
I do not want to special mention to many others, for fear that I will forget to mention someone. But I can honestly say that becuase of VK I have made great new friends. Some that even extend beyond the site. Pete, I consider you a true friend eventhough we have never met. Your paasion for this hobby is unrivaled, and I look forward to getting together.

Thank you Matt, from another Matt. And thank you to all the rest of the amazing people here who keep me coming back every day, even if there is nothing new to report, I will still come back as there’s going to be something new for me to read or look at. The enthusiasm here for all things vinyl, as well as the general camaraderie found throughout the site, is what has drawn me in and kept me hooked.
Oh, and my screen name actually comes from something unrelated to comics or video games. Interesting comparison though, and one that I would be hard pressed to deny, but it’s actually a play on the military term “towed jumper” which is something that I can say I have been fortunate enough to never be.

Thanks everyone for not only your love of vinyls, but your love of community and love of the world. Thanks to Matt for being so supportive of my crazy ideas including a weekly eBay article and an end of the year charity sale. Big thanks to Ken for the constant advice regarding collectibles and life. So much of the world of collecting is labile, but friendships not so much. Thanks everyone for being passionate about collecting, but more importantly realizing that the other parts of life are an even bigger deal. Proud to be here with y’all.
Matt, thank you! You produce an awesome site which we in the collecting community greatly appreciate. Not only is VMK informative but highly entertaining. And the forums are the best out there; everyone that contributes to the forum is welcoming and great to deal with. I also want to say a big thank you to others in the forums that have traded with me and helped me obtain other hard to find vinyls.
Oh, and thanks for mentioning me twice in the same paragraph. Lol!
Although my Thanksgiving was a few weeks ago, I would like to say a big thank-you to ALL of the VMKingdom staff, admins, writers, and graphic designer(s). VMKingdom is one of the best, most well-designed vinyl websites online and has one of the BEST vinyl twitter feeds! I enjoy reading all of the articles and being a member of the forums. The forums really have some of the nicest people who are super helpful and provide newbies like me with tons of quality vinyl, DL, and WDW information. If you haven’t joined the forum yet, you really should!
On another note – Matt, if I ever sell the table, you’ll be at the top of my list of potential buyers (not that this will ever happen

I’m thrilled I made it on your list, Matt, but I think you have mistaken me with someone else. VK is the very first forum I’ve joined and let me say no other forum measures up. I love how this site has a homey, close-knit family feel. I love all the articles and especially like reading about how your kids are huge vinyl fans too because that’s the case for my family as well. Thanks to Matt, Ken, all the moderators and all the writers who make this site possible and personable!
