Another Star Wars 2 Series Image Released
. Vinylmation fans are still excited about finding Series 1 Star Wars Vinylmations as more news about series comes to light at Vinylmation Kingdom. Adam Duckworth, a Twitter follower, let us know about a new Star Wars Series 2 Vinylmation image released yesterday. Adam says the following image was released on the Star Tours Facebook page.
This means we have now seen 3 images for the 2012 series. Here are the other two we’ve seen:
Oh gosh, it’s been ages since I’ve seen Star Wars… Is that Owen Lars or Obi Wan?
Owen didn’t wear a brown Jedi robe in A New Hope. He had more of a being top. However, I will say the face is cartoonish enough to be either but I’m sticking with Obi Wan.
How odd it is to include Obi Wan again… It’d make more sense if Ghost Obi was the regular (and thus only) SW chaser then.
Obi Wan most definitely needs to be in this set as does Luke Leia, etc. The mistake was made in series one. No need for the regular Obi Wan chaser. Obi Wan never appeared in the movie alive. Only Ghost Obi appeared. That’s where the mistake was.
I’m assuming you are making this comment based on the assumption that the first Star Wars series was an Empire set. I can see that….
It’s not an assumption. The case says its honoring the anniversary of ESB. Unfortunately, Series 1 was delayed a year so it didn’t honor the 30th anniversary of ESB like it was supposed to. haha It came out on 31st.
i’m actually kind of saddened that Mr Lucas agreed to having these on the new molds.( i’m assuming they are:()
if they are new mold, they’ll look really bad lined up next to series one. (in my opinion)
Just like every other series, they are moved to the new mold. However, if anybody would love the new mold, it’s George Lucas. He loves tinkering with things that are fine the way they are. haha
