FINALLY, Darkwing Duck has come BACK to D-Street! Pics Added

We finally have a release date for the Darkwing Duck Disney Afternoon release. Darkwing will be released on September 16th at both D-Street locations. Sounds good to me. As bad as the Disney Afternoon releases have been at D-Street locales, they have been worse online. Now, this isn’t good for collectors around the country. However, the entire process has been bad for all collectors. They should have made 2000!

Also that day, a new Vinylmation Flags release will be available. You can get a Puerto Rico Flag for $9.95. While you are at it, you might as well pick up your  “It’s A Small World” Vinylmation Jr Series 4 that was designed by Thomas Scott.  Here are some pics of the latest flag:

Damn! I’m on the DVC member cruise when that get’s released. Guess I gonna teach the kids to go. LOL

  8. The Rock title reference for the MASSIVE win. =) +10 Leeshka points (which were much more valuable a currency during the early 90′s BBSing days)

  9. This is great news unless you really want one and don’t live near Disney, in which case its terrible news.

Looks like my first “Release” venture to Orlando D-Street!! I have missed all the other Afternoon series…but this is a personal childhood favorite so the two hour drive will be worth it!

Vinylmation flag… one of the rip off series of ALL vinylmation collection… One thing I dont understand why Disney release one after the other… and not give collector a break to breath or time to find second job… Disney I know you want money but at least be reasonable!!!

  12. You are right Scuba, it IS terrible news with me living in Texas. It’s OLD mold so I gotta have it! Guess I am back to the trading board.

  13. Why are FLAGS are ripoff series? I think that it makes sense with EPCOT and you can get what you like. I personally have come close to buying the Italian Flag just because my grandfather was born in Italy. Now if it was a Blind Box set, that would be ridiculous.

  14. don’t worry. there will be ebay scammers at the d-street releases. it won’t be as bad as the online releases though because they will be limited to one transaction/2 per person (unless they want to wait in line again). :) i am glad that this release is during a time when kids are back in school. this way people cannot bring 4 extra kids to buy 10 of the sets at a time. it is going to be long night at the release.

How early do you think lines will start in CA and FL?

  16. So glad this is a D-Street release. This is the one I have been waiting for the most!

Awww! I am missing this release by 3 days! I leave WDW on the 13th. :(

  18. Never been to one of these releases, how early do you think I need to be at the Cali release in order to have a decent shot of getting these?

    • As early as they allow you to line up at DTD.

I went to the Rescue Rangers release, arrived there at 6AM & only 5 people after me were able to get wrist bands. Disney’s online blog said for today’s Bonkers release no one was suppose to line up before 6AM, however I didn’t go to this one so don’t know how it went.
