Class of the Kingdom 9″ Awards

So the red carpet is out, the audience is seated, the voting is done, and it’s time to learn who won the first Semi-Annual Class of the Kingdom Awards.  But before we get to the winners,  wanted to share my personal favorites from the past 6 months.

 

9″–Hyacinth Hippo–This 9″ vinyl embodies what makes Vinylmations great.  A classic love-able character drawn perfectly on the 9″ mold.  The ears, the tutu, the big belly, what’s not to love.

9″ Combo–Pete and Elliott–More classic characters making a flawless transition to the Mickey mold.  The facial expressions get me the most.  The smirk, the smile, everything makes me think of this underrated classic.  But what I love the most is that they included the Tic Tac Toe board on Pete’s belly.  Great attention to detail!

9″ City Exclusive–San Francisco Bridge– The blending together of night and day is beautiful.   Who knew landscape art and Vinylmations would work out so well together?

First Runner-Up For Best 9″ From A Series

Voted in by the fans as a late entry nominee.  This wonderful representation of the movie, Up,  almost took the prize in a close, two vinyl race.

Best 9″ Vinyl From A Series

The 9″ winner is none other than Fantasmic!  The unique nature and great representation of a beloved show won over the masses.  Having Mickey Mouse and fireworks didn’t hurt either.

 

First Runner-Up For Best 9″ Combo

In our closest battle for vinyl supremacy, Pete and Elliott came up just a vote short. Outstanding showing considering the somewhat obscure nature of the source material.

In an absolute landslide, the San Francisco bridge soars over it’s competition.  

Thank you to everyone who participated with us in this week-long competition.  It was a lot of fun to hear about everyone’s favorites.   And now for the contest results, the winner of the Class Of The Kingdom Contest is NICKW888.   He will be taking home his very own Hyacinth Hippo, my personal favorite 9″ vinyl from the year so far!
