Urban 7 to be Released July 22

We have confirmation that Urban 7 will be released at D-Street Disneyland and WDW. Set you calenders for a July 22, 2011 release. This looks to be one of the best Urban sets to date. Main question is. What mold will this set be in? I am also wondering if there will be a combo topper? And what will it be? Will we see another Tonal? And if so what color. My bet is on Red.

    It appears they are trying to squeeze a 3rd Urban release this year. I bet we get another by November.

    Totally agree that this set is better than 6. So far I’m loving the spaghetti and meatballs. Although I’m curious to see what the alien looks like close up.

    Hope the edition size on Urban 6 was pretty low. Otherwise, we may be seeing Urban 6 as long Urban 3.

    Just checked out the sneak peaks and now like the set even more! Closer inspection changed my mind on the penguin and squirrel. They look pretty good! As do all of them really. Not sure I feel about that alien still. Need to see it in the dark?!

    Why Disney in hurry to release all of those VM series? We all know quality and design ALL gone down. I really wish they can do 1 release per series or 2 at the most per year. Maybe it’ll provide time for the artist to design better looking VM…. you guys agree most of the new VM really look crappy right??

    To answer your first question, Disney sees a cash cow and they want to take advantage of it. However, I’d argue you that quality and design are down across the board. Yes, I agree that you will see some designs make it into a series that you’ll scratch your head about but there are still great design coming out weekly. The Ariel Disneyland exclusive might be the best yet.

    Urban 7 looks great, I really wish Urban 7 can release as Urban 6… Urban 6 design just BAD (exception of Summo wrestler, sunny day, bumblebee, and maybe cactus, rest of them just junks)!!!! I am a collector need to complete whole set, even though only few are good looking/design, but spend hurndered of dollars just for 2 or 3 I like its just waste of money……
